The Nether Abbey

The Nether Abbey Hotel started life as a grand seaside house at the turn of the 19th century. As with many buildings of this era, each room has its own character with high ceilings on the first floor and coombes and fireplaces in most second-floor rooms - the original servant’s quarters. However, one thing that all twelve rooms and bathrooms have in common is that they have all been renovated to an exceptionally high standard. The Nether Abbey Hotel is well placed within North Berwick to take full advantage of the area's fine beaches, the wide variety of outdoor pursuits available, the town's Sports Centre with indoor swimming pool and the new Scottish Seabird Centre.
