San Diego

San Diego has so much to offer with its many theme and adventure parks, incredible dining, harbor activities, shopping and much more so making room for the wonderful golf can be tough. But DO make the time! Most of the courses are hilly and are wedged through the canyons and around small mountains that are very unique to this region. Each course is in great condition year round, as mild temperatures afford this area the enjoyment of not having the hot desert heat. Mild, cool air off the Pacific Ocean makes it perfect for mid-winter golf, with the locals preferring spring and summer golf, so most courses are open for visitors with special ‘off season rates.' The northern suburbs of Temecula, Rancho Bernardo, Torrey Pines, La Jolla and Carlsbad are home to classic, big name designs that fit all skill levels and budgets.

This region is also home to the second largest wine region of California (next to Napa) which needs to be explored. Add in casinos and exciting nightlife and you’ll be back in San Diego and the county before you know it.
